So very very thankful for a few precious days with this girl!!
Our walk ended with a picnic at the lake.
Friday night dinner...hard to describe or explain why this culinary venture was so hilarious. I haven't laughed that hard in quite a while! The results and the process were altogether satisfactory!! :)
Saturday took us to Maggianos for Lunch and then here for dessert. A rare and much savored treat!

One of the ridiculous but much enjoyed traditions of our outdoor frolics is Melody's flower crown weaving. Normally, I am required to wear her creations for an embarrassing length of time. So I made her model it this time. I feel somewhat vindicated.
