Home for Christmas (Part IV: All together)

Off to Norfolk to spend time with Ben

First stop: Toast! (It was delicious)

(If you can't tell by the hair in this picture, it was a bit windy)

(But so worth it!)

So after lunch we headed over to Stella's to warm up!

After we were sufficiently Mochafied, we went back to Ben's apartment to Skype with Shanna. While we chatted, we got to unwrap her sweet Christmas gifts: lovely handmade scarves for us girls and a much coveted hat for Ben. So thankful for the wonders of technology where distance would otherwise divide us.

Then it was a lovely drive through the mist to get home and begin Sarah Beth's birthday puzzle...

...which required fuzzy winter socks

Even Daddy had time to join us!

And Mr. Perlman graciously agreed to provide the background music

Sunday Evening brought her favorite meal: homemade cranberry scones - right out of the oven!

The Moon was stunning tonight so us kids grabbed the keys and drove to watch it rise over the water.

So Peaceful!
