The Beginnings of Fall (or the last few weeks in reverse)

Today's afternoon walk through the woods and back to the marsh behind Cedarhaven!

A very happy fall meal today to go with the crisp weather!

The current stage of the (excited) refinishing and furnishing in the nursery!

(Aren't these outlet covers super cool? They are a wonderful heavy cast iron too and were a super good deal! I love how much they add to the feel of the room!)

I can't describe what a wave of happiness and anticipation this pictures sets thrilling inside me!

A long but rewarding Saturday of (well ventilated) renovations in the nursery.

A few quiet hours in the afternoon on Wednesday with just Josh and I and a wonderful new book.

A lovely morning of Farmer's Marketing and Yummaries tasting and Cure sipping in Smithfield with my Dear Sarah Beth!

Friday night bonfire!

End of a Thursday poetry on the front porch with Josh. This was an absolutely stunning poem by Sidney Lanier entitled, The Symphony.
