A Birthday, A Visit, Some Shopping and the New Year

The current phase of the studio renovations :)

Making a new schedule for this year after finishing my time at Master Cleaners and merging into full time music again!

Post studio meeting dinner and a movie with Mum!

Sarah Beth had a birthday this week! We celebrated with wonderful food, winter flowers, a movie at Nanny's and of course presents :)

On New Years eve, I got to meet up with Dear Tabitha in Richmond! We had a tasty feast, a few hours of wonderfully refreshing conversation and then an adventure to a lovely old bookshop!

On my way home, I stopped by St. Johns church where Patrick Henry delivered his famous "Give me liberty or give me death!" speech. It was closed for the season, but the grounds and surrounding streets were beautiful nonetheless.

On Sunday, the whole family got to go out for lunch at our favorite little Chinese restaurant and then the kids went to Target for a little pre-valentines day shopping.

Daniel was a good sport and tried on a drivers cap for my enjoyment.
Rather a dashing chap, isn't he?

Sunday night, we made a pie and sat around the (now operating) fire place in the studio and talked about our goals and prayers for the new year. Such a treasured time as a family!

This week has held some unexpectedly lovely teaching moments and so many small provisions and kindnesses of God, from unexpected direct answers to prayer in small ways to large movements forward for the studio. He is so kind to us, though we are but dust.
