A Sunday...
Delicious Lunch while listening to a live string quartet playing Jazz from the 20's and 30's
Even the Diet Coke got dressed up :)
A beautiful afternoon called for a long walk at the Arboretum. As I scroll back through these pictures, I can smell again the heavy scent of the pine and fir trees, hear the birds singing softly, and feel the crunch of unsoiled snow beneath my boots. My heart is full.
That sort of walk called for a hot lobster bisque and a good book.
I've been thinking a lot about these verses tonight. This week I'm praying to be made faithful, persistent, never ceasing, diligent, earnest, honest, joyful...in prayer.
"Seek the Lord and His strength, seek His face continually."
"Continue in prayer and watch in the same with thanksgiving."
